Two teammates might be conspiring to injure or kill another teammate
Evidence.
Starting right fielder Dwain Henningar goes down with a mild concussion on 5/25 and is day to day. He is replaced by Ben Burton in the lineup. On 5/28 Henningar is 100% and ready to be put in the lineup. Manger (me) decides to keep Burton in the lineup as he's doing very well, Henningar now finds him self on the outside looking in, due to his injury (mild concussion) Perhaps he's a bit angry? On 5/30 Burton who is basically a career utility guy calls out 6 year veteran teammate Clark Paradis for a lack of effort.
Now he likely has 2 guys mad at him. Who does this kid think he is? On 6/17 there is an incident a practice. A malfunctioning pitching machine ends up injuring Burton after a fast call dings off his head. This leads to a concussion of his own and is taken out of the lineup. And who do you ask was interviewed about the whole thing? None other than his good buddy and teammate Dwain Henningar had some interesting things to say about the incident including the following quotes. "I've never seen a pitching machine throw a pitch quite like that". "Ben needs to watch himself.....I think the pitching machine has it out for him" Yeah sure it's the pitching machine that has it out for him.
