Trying to start a fictional league first time doing this
I'm trying to start a Canadian Baseball Association with all of the major cities getting a ML Team and minor cities getting Minor League teams with High school feeder leagues feeding into college and Major League Draft. Would I be able to get graphics for the teams? And is it mandatory to sim 20 years to fix settings or not?

i'm assuming the sim 20 year part is about something read in forums?
not necessary at all. much less noticeable than past to the eye as far as seed players vs what will be produced by feeders or whatever you chose to do. pre-date it, if you want to, then let it run and erase history... you'll have a 'fuller' FA field as well as a full league of players that were produced from your feeders. 25-30 would be ~100% turnover. 20 years wil definitely have some 'better' stragglers aging 38-40+, but not many of course. do it overnight when you sleep or at work. if not, you just want to keep a little closer eye on league stats and whether they stay in a range you wanted. think of LT/LTM as setting the physics of power and contact etc. at a hr LTM of X, you can expect between A and B HR at Y power. if consistent with past releases, there will be more of the higher quality guys from your feeders vs seed players. so league home runs would inevitably go up over time. not as much as in past, though. may not notice now? that example may or may not be true, but explains the concepts of how league-wide stats can shift and why. simply autocalculate modifiers if anything gets extremely out-of-whack. be forgiving. don't click every year. maybe 3-5 years inititially and then less often as time goes by... then just tweak as necessary, manually. while any year may ebb and flow, there is an upper and lower range of results you can expect... if you maintain the same feeder system, that range will remain the same. other benefit of zooming 20 years out -- testing stuff like feeder system, mil rules etc. if you see a problem can reload a back and try again. ltm/lt - league total modifers and totals. stats and ai settings.
