Creating a Player Database

Is there a way to create a player database that would include things like, type of pitcher (groundball, flyball), type of hitter (pull hitter, regular, spray hitter, flyball hitter, line drive hitter)?

Have you ever tried going to the "View all MLB players" tab and then customizing your view?

There may be a way if you can decode the game files. Otherwise, it seems you can do it for some things (e.g., type of pitcher, injury proneness, greed), but not other things (type of hitter, triples rate) as far as I can tell.

Yes, was able to determine the pitcher type through your suggestion, thanks. Does not appear that you can determine the type of hitter. 1 out of 2 isn't bad.

check the exported files options. i would think it'd show arm slot in there?

you may have to make your own queries and reports etc.. can export as basic text or ms access file.
