Not very often. I always get an extreme explosion of offense 2-3 years down the road in Challenge Mode that I don't enjoy.

Can you elaborate on that?

Guys regularly hitting 60+ HRs, etc. Challenge Mode doesn't let you change the numbers before starting.

I'd have to take issue with that. Before you start a league, it's pretty easy on the Stats & AI page to say, try out 1970 settings during the HR explosion of the 90's. There are a number of options left available.

i'm too picky about my leagues to use it. i want to edit the structure and teams a bit. i like slightly different League Totals... i'm not playing for 1 season's results to compare to others either. i want a long history, which makes those things a bit more important than they initially seem. (i'm sure i could have misrepresented the mode, that's how familiar i am with it)

so it really comes down to whether you are an^l or not... lol... plus, can be fun to compete with the masses too. i gotta say that back in the day i enjoyed seeing my screenname at the top-ish of some tiger woods boards .. .at least half way through the year. can only play so much golf.

Never. I want more freedom in customizing my league and team options. Not in a way that cheats, or at least cheats in my opinion (editing players, forcing trades, etc.). I like to adjust the trading frequency during the season to avoid lots of april/may trades, among other things.

I only use Challenge Mode now. It helps curb my OCD. In the past versions I would spend so much time editing rating and details on all of the players. With Challenge Mode, I adjust a few league settings, but I can't touch the player ratings. It allows me to enjoy the game itself much more.

I don't use Challenge Mode because I like the challenge presented when using the realistic injury settings.

That is one of the issues I do have with Challenge Mode. I think we should be allowed to make changes to the injury settings.

I think we should be allowed to increase the setting, but not decrease the setting.

That is what I meant to say. I figure if it makes the game more challenging it should be allowed in Challenge Mode.
