Problems with pop ups and lowering OOTP

When I lower OOTP I cant ever get it back up it just becomes a little box that I cant click. Everytime an update or something pops up and goes way from the OOTP screen I cant go back to OOTP. Any help please it gets annoying having to hit task manager and stopping OOTP just to open it back up and lose all my progress

Ah ok, so when I’ve had problems like that it has always been due to low RAM

is it in fullscreen mode?

that won't happen in windowed mode. you lose a few pixels, but if you stretch, re-center it, it's only a few. it'll be less resource intensive when not in d3d mode or w/e fullscreen is called nowadays.

they should add a windowless windowed mode. that would be best. (not making that up)
