I had that happen in the last season of my fictional league--and the rookie was a fill-in starter for an injured regular. It was his fourth big-league start. He walked five or six batters, but put up zeroes in the hit column.

it took a long time in my last league for a perfect game and it was some chump pitcher.. .same with the 4hr in a game guys... all junk, lol.
of course mostly better pitchers in the ensuing perfect games. think it took 20-30 years before i got 1, then much more common after that. (+30yrs simmed before league started, erased history too) |
