No mouse

I have no clue why this just started to happen, but, OOTP19 will now not run my mouse. Game loads, mouse is there on startup screen, then something happens and the mouse is gone. I even ran the steam version with the same results. OOTP18 & OOTP17 on the same machine and they run fine.
I am baffled.

Anybody ever see something like this?

check game settings on splash screen when game loads, not league. any option for 'alternative' mouse or cursor etc? anything related symantically, try it.

google this. i see win 10 had a problem etc.. from just a quick glance without enough search terms relevant to your situation.

"lost mouse game winX" "cannot see mouse game winX" etc.. win x being your os.

double check drivers are up to day.. device manager - right click the mouse entry and check for drivers in properties. very unlikely, but maybe. if the rollback driver button is available, can try that too.

after thatmaybe some obscure cfg file in users directory. app.cfg? more likely a fix outside the game than in, though.

Thank you for the help and suggestions. As it seems that the mouse was invisible, I was able to eventually get to click on settings. When I managed to select "Windowed" instead of "Full Screen" the issue was solved. Not sure why, but that did it.
