Didn't play it, I just simmed it. But I was like "WHAT THE?!?!". On top of that, the Senators were up 2-0 and 3-1 at one point in the series.

I can't even imagine how that would go down. Especially to your rival

Just wondering, why is the Division Series seven games in your league?

Probably the way he wanted it set up. I am running a fictional league and I use a best of 3 Wild Card series instead of one Wild Card game. I think LDS is still 5 games though although Ive ran leagues with 7 game LDS. My main reasoning is longer playoffs means a better chance of seeing the true best team win. I guess. That's my logic whether it's sound or not lol.

Just curious, how do you have the best of 3 set up? I did the same in my league and just have it to where the team with the better record gets all 3 home games. Figured it was more realistic for travel reasons than a 1-2 setup or 1-1-1.

It justifies eliminating the wild card game. The alignment in mine is a bit different. I have two leagues and two divisions in each. I have sometimes done a wild card game or a best of three wild card round, but it seems smoother to just have four teams in each league make the playoffs.

That's how I do it too when I set up a Wild Card Series. Generally if I do it, 6 teams make the playoffs.

Ive got my best of 3 set up with 3 home at the higher seed.

Figured it makes sense that the higher seed should get the advantage and its no different than a regular season 3 game series. You know besides the fact its win or go home
