stuff rating

A lot of times the stuff ratings seem to be 10 too low? Reading the player development report I see xxx player's stuff rating improves from 50 to 55, then I look at the player and their stuff rating is 45. It only happens with the stuff rating. I figure well maybe its the OSA rating, but it isn't. I notice this all the time, but not every time. What gives?

I would guess your scout is rating the player as a relief pitcher and you have him listed as a starter

well, it happened again this time with a reliever... stuff improves from 55-60, but his stuff is still listed at 50. Anyone else ever notice this?

i think this is part of an ongoing issue / or non-issue, i don't know on the latter.

you can find other threads with similar observations. my key is not looking at the reports and only the info in profile or scouting history in the player profile and not the reports section. that's always accurate/equivalent to profile values for me, at least.

heck, i delete that email after a quick glance. it could very well be different values, lol... but not in player profiles / subsections of that profile that i see.
