Post Trade Deadline

I have made simple trades following the July 31 deadline, however, I have always been afraid to trade a “superstar” due to the fact you have to put him on waivers. How can you pull him back?

It seems like I learn about players of mine being claimed by another team after the fact.

Some guidance would be appreciative.

This should cover it:

https://manuals.ootpdevelopments.com...3&page=waivers

But my understanding is that you should get notified if your player is claimed, if it's irrevocable.

If you attempt a trade in August and a player is claimed, it's automatically walked back, so you don't have to worry about losing a player that way. We do things a little different than in real MLB at the moment.

Matt does the system still send notifications if a player on irrevocable waivers is claimed?

I was pretty confident OOTP sends notifications if the waivers are irrevocable. Ok, so the screenshot in the manual is from OOTP 9, but it was there!

Yeah, irrevocable we definitely send notes when a player is claimed. If it's a trade and they're revocable waivers, then you get notice that the trade is cancelled.
