League won't save to flash drive

I am having major issues playing OOTP19 on my desktop since this week's patch.
My laptop, however, is having no issues.

So I am attempting to save my league to a flash drive (Sandisk 3.0/64 GB), it worked on saving for about an hour before stopping with a message that said "Error 0X80070052: The Directory or file cannot be created.
It continued:

game box 6812
Type: HTML File
Size: 24.8 KB
Date modified: 7/19/2018 2:05 p.m.

I told it to skip it, it moved onto the next game box and stalled again.

I seem to get errors in the box scores a lot and it won't let me delete that specific one that is corrupted. I would try copying the folders individually and when you get to the box scores folder, start a box scores folder with the same name where it needs to go on the flash drive and copy every box score except that one giving you an error into it.

Zip the league folder then copy the single zip file to the usb drive. zero issues.

may want to copy without zipping.

once you load from that drive, it should save to it fine, i'd assume. force it over there, load game, click save and see what happens. may not have to do it a 2nd time after that.
