Advertise online leagues more

Online OOTP leagues are one of the most enjoyable gaming activities that I've ever had the pleasure to experience. I even run one, although not going to discuss that here. However, I think more should be done to advertise these leagues. Before I joined I was under the impression that nearly all of these were small groups of close friends who knew each other outside of OOTP - instead its a massive community of players! I'm not entirely sure how the best ways to do this would be - maybe something on the main menu? However, in my humble opinion, one or more of the loading blurbs should give a very quick summary of what online leagues are/how to join. Something like
"Enjoying OOTP? Try playing with real people! The OOTP Forum's online section is a great place to find a friendly group of players to play with."

I don't believe it was sponsored by OOTP developers but there used to be a sort of tournament each year between leagues. Each league that participated would nominate a member to represent them and it was a big fantasy draft type of thing. I think that could be great if done right and promoted by the developers.
