What leagues do you use in a MLB game?

I always use MLB, ***, KBO, and US indie leagues, but I never know whether or not I should use all the other leagues. Anybody have some insight on whether or not I should use all the leagues available in the game?

I use all of them. My theory is if they are there and they put the work in creating them so why not? Plus adds a lot of nationalities for world cups, tourneys and the like. Also the Cuban And Australian leagues play in the mlb offseason so it gives something to look at as well. At some point I might create an second owner to manage one of these. Or I might combine a couple to make a super league or something. Endless possibilities.

I use ***, KOB, Cuban and Mexican Leagues. I like having leagues where Quad-A players who won't sign minor league deals can go play. Cuban League has less interaction with those type of players than the Asian Leagues (perhaps because of reduced financials and playing at different times than the other leagues) so it's my least favorite one of the four.

I play this league as an online league so I can't add more without the file becoming hopelessly large.

i stick to MLB and minor league affiliates, but i'm a minimalist and don't get into the international tournament stuff or anything beyond WS for that matter.

i tried to use the int'l leauges and turn off generated int'l FA, but sim speeds were too slow for my tastes just for a handful of players per year out of 750 mlb players. for what i enjoy and how i play, the cost was too high.

even the mil is a necessary evil for me. totally uninterested in the results. however, not simming developement isn't an option for me.

I use all of them as well. I just wished the other leagues had history or a way to import my own.

I use them all simply to limit the amount of free agents with nowhere to play. Enabling all of the leagues allows more players to play, so I don't constantly have 3000+ FA just sitting there doing nothing.

I use all of them, but I usually add the Empire Baseball League and United Shore League so there are more Indy Leagues and I am toying with adding a couple more this time around.

Also will be using all leagues and the full 32 conference college and 50 league high school templates provided by Dr PR Park.

Really, I just like having those stats and histories so i can go no ratings if i want to.

MLB and affiliates as well. Found in the past when I had the other leagues i paid little attention to them and then found that lots of current managers and GM's were being replaced by international GM's and Managers.

I find the default Australian and Cuban leagues wonky. As they create MLB potential draftees unless your not in challenge mode and change the PCMs. Cuba less important as they have no financials by default so no free agents.

I like Mexican since its an official MLB AAA league just not affiliated. And the at least the US Indies. Especially if you add MLB minor league roster limits and service time. You need a place for the cuts, rejects, over aged players to go.

Just like if anyone saw former MLB pitcher Mat Latos start a bench brawl over the weekend in one of the US Indy leagues. There is enough travel between Indy circuit and MLB/MiLB in real life for me to warrant their inclusion.

I really want to start up a new file with all of leagues minus Cuba/Australia but I now the weekly/monthly sim time is going to be awful.

Someone talk me into it???

MLB/MiLB
***
KBO
LMB
U.S. Indy

All of them and also use financial models for Cuba. I want the best players to end up in MLB, and they usually do

My major league is fictional (NABA) that I simmed from 1880-1999 then began playing. I added ***, KBO, and Cuban Series Nacional this season (2002).

I've been playing this game since OOTP17. I'm also creating another game from this template but I'm gonna have the leagues above as well as the Mexican league and Indy leagues. I'm gonna start it sometime in the 1860s but I plan to play or spectate (as I will be GM/manager) game by game until modern day.

I use all of them except for Cuba and Australia as they are bugged and produce MLB draft quality and there is no way to change it in challenge mode. The PCM are ok when creating fictional players but the draft quality are all 1.0 like MLB baseball for both Cuba and Australia. Never got an answer why and I think its been like this for several versions of OOTP. My big problem is I always have challenge mode active so you can't change any PCM or add any templates.

Since Australia is default set to purchase players AI MLB teams will start to purchase Australian prospects after a couple of years for $250,000 and they are MLB 4 star quality.

Cuba is kind of pointless even if it didn't produce MLB draft because they cant defect and have no financials so no free agency. And requires to many changes to get it to work in most universes.

So Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Us and Asian Indys, Mexican, Italian and Dutch leagues.

The Indies are really important if you turn on service time and/or roster limits in your minor leagues. All of them released players need some place to play and develop.

I play with the Game pre-load of the Quickstart, plus the six leagues I have created (real life foreign leagues not in the game). I've also added the Premier 12, European Champions Cup, and European Championship Tournaments.

Also, expanded the ABL to add Geelong and Auckland.

I never play Challenge Mode.

Do you have a quickstart of your game? Or a world template? I'm just about to start a real long term game, but I want to add something like that because just having random teams qualify for the WBC and Olympics doesnt cut it for me.
