Most Frustrating Part of This Game (And I Partly Blame the Forums)
I think I'm currently in May in 3 of my leagues (playing out every game). That's all well and good, but with a 2 year old and 2 month old at home, I barely have time for one league. I really want to just play out one save and that be my long term save. I'll read a completely fictional dynasty here on the forums and want to play my fictional league. I'll read the 2019 Cardinals thread and want to play my current MLB league. Then, I'll decide to meet in the middle and play a league with real MLB teams, but fictional players. I've thought about deleting two of the leagues and forcing myself to play one that way, but starting up a brand new MLB league is just way too easy if I decide I want to go back to that.
I'm not really asking anything, just venting (though I am open to ideas). I love this game, but there are too many ways to play. I really want to just stick with one league and play it long term. Frustrating. |

Haha, I know that feeling.
I don't run multiple leagues, but I can't tell you how many times I've restarted my "New World Baseball League." I'm on probably my fourth rendition now, and I've started doing a dynasty thread in the hopes it will keep me involved enough to stick with it! Plan is to manage my way up the chain - not letting the AI promote me, just promoting my self to the next level each season. Then one season in the bigs where I am just managing. After that I'll take over as GM. I'm 20 games into season 1 as rookie league manager right now!

I've always stuck with one league. I sim the current year with real players and then expand the league by two teams in the offseason and take control of one of the expansion teams. It's truly your team among the real MLB.

Ditch the wife, ditch the kids, rent a tiny apartment somewhere above a pizza shop, and play as many leagues as you want.

You need less drive. A lack of drive will make you find starting a new league revolting, because it is... So. Much. Effort. Ugh! Adding 15 to 25 pounds also helps to reduce drive.
Or so I heard. (cough) That aside, also... ... this.

start a current MLB league & after you play it long enough it becomes fictional.
I'm almost there after playing out every game of a league I started years ago.
