Give Facegen to another player?

Hey folks,

I'm messing around with a new dynasty, where a retired player is going to become my human manager. I know there isn't a way to easily do that, which is fine. I don't mind there just being a player record and a separate manager record.

But I'd love for my human manager to use the exact same Facegen as the player. Right now it's a little jarring if you go from the human manager profile to the player, because they look nothing alike.

Anyone know if there is a way to accomplish that?

To the best of my knowledge, this is a relatively easy process. In your news/html/images/person pics.... etc, there's a manager_1 file for your human manager. So, if your player is player_111 just right-click and create a copy, rename your manager file, rename the copy manager_1 and voila! Should be done. Don't forget to go to the profile folder as well and either do the same thing or just delete the manager_1 file there. It 'should' create once you click the manager's page.

Aren't those just the .png files, though? I thought the underlying facegen was something different. If I change teams or update my picture or whatever, will it actually update my photo correctly?

The .png files are the limit of my experience. I don’t use real photos, where I think the .fg files come into play. Facegen manages the .png files’ aging and what not in unseen and undemanding ways, as goes my fictional league.
