September Roster Update

So I learned last year that there was a roster update in September...Are there plans to do this in OOTP 19? Also, Are the draft prospects assigned to the right teams? And if they aren't how do they handle the draft?

it's just a 25 or 40 man update. the draft will still be as it was. i would argue time makes sense that draft hasn't happened when you start a league, but that would contradict the whole roster update to begin with, since you wouldn't have the players from trades on opening day either. nonetheless, i doubt they'd have time to go over the entire mil and a draft full of players. it's volunteer based? a contribution from some people putting in extra time or something? whatever it is, it is 'extra'

when/if it's released you will see the template on addons central. i'd assume it's happening this year too, but i'd easily miss any update saying otherwise.

The draft would end up to weak if they added all the drafted players to the teams.

If you have Random turned on you should get Historical Guys in Draft. Still have guys that didn't sign even some top guys.

there's 3-4+ years of amateurs typically. just may get a higher proportion of younger prospects? maybe it fills in with fictional if the "2018" pool is used? then back to real amateurs until exhausted.
