Double No-Hitter

A rarity in my Random Debut League happened this morning. A double no-hitter in a game between the White Sox and Orioles. The lone run was scored on a walk, an error, and a sac fly.

Not an official double no-hitter (only 8 IP on one end), but the lack of a news story for this is quite an oversight.

Both news stories and the pitchers from the boxscore.

i would love to be managing a game like this as it would drive me bonkers a double no-hitter. I be pissed off at my laptop if I lost that game and breathing a sigh of relief and celebrating the win of the no-hitter

Congratulations on the double no-hitter I would print this box score up and save it

The closest thing to a double no-hitter I've seen is this:

08/04/2020: Miles Mikolas (STL) pitches a no-hitter against the Reds.
08/05/2020: Drew Pomeranz (CIN) pitches a perfect game against the Cards.

Talk about revenge.

OK so this brings to mind a question. Lets say it goes double no hitter thru 9, and then in the top of the 10th there's a walk/SB/SAC/SF, and then there's a perfect bottom of the 10th.

Home pitcher: 10 ip, 0 h, er, 1/9 bb/k
Road pitcher: 10 ip, 0 h, er, 1/14 bb/k

Does that count?

That would indeed be a double no-hitter, as each team had 9+ IP and did not allow a hit.

Yeah, you just have to pitch 9 innings.

would think the pitcher would need to pitch a complete game in order to get a no-no but no big deal still a no hitter for both teams in my book
