Question about GM

Hey all quick question,

I am operating as GM only with my manager Francona controlling roster and lineups. I demoted Yan Gomes to the Clippers. This is my first time playing so I am trying not to get overwhelmed. With that being said, I will sometime hit he 'AI set up lineup' button to get me caught back up if I get overwhelmed. Every time I do this, they move Yan Gomes back up to the majors.

Is there a way I can lock him to the minors and still have the AI occasionally update?

I thought I locked him but they just demoted Mejia to the AZ league?? haha why??

Sorry for the posts...

So it appears I can lock a player to MiLB, but can I lock someone to the MLB?

Are you pressing the 'Have AI set up organization" button? If you do that then the AI will move players around where ever it sees fit, including DFAing players and demoting them.

I was. I was hoping I could still lock certain players though even if I pressed that button.

Use the other options. There's an "Ask AI to set up complete minor league system" right under the complete organization option that avoids all of this.
