basically nothing on this list is accurate. maybe the first if you are talking about managing each game since I only sim.

I get plenty of even trade offers

I had a rule 5 outfielder go from 1.5/2 to 4/4.5 in a matter of months

Unsigned FAs will usually sign in 2 days midseason

Some players are open to long term deals buying out arbitration years. Some arent. Makes sense.

If you can choose not finalize a contract after a "soft" agreement then so can the player.

You made good points in your OP suggestion but roughly 50% of everything else was not true.

And as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst for the last 17 years, there is no such thing as an easy fix.....especially when those words come from a developer....heard that way too many times over the years......nothing with coding a complex game/application is ever simple.

The OP can’t be very good as a programmer. Otherwise he would know that it is impossible to access the effort required to “fix” these so-called issues without ever having seen the code.
