Assistant GM vs Scouting Director - who should be the better scout?

OK, in an online league where I'm the GM. Where should I assign the better scout, assistant GM or scouting director?

I have a GM who is a Legendary scout of Amateurs. Will he make a bigger impact as assistant GM or scouting director if I'm controlling most tasks?

I could be wrong but isnt the scout the main man for ratings? All of the ratings you'll see will be based off of his analysis and drives the GM decisions

That’s my understanding, which prompts my question. It seems I’d be better served reassigning my current assistant GM as my scouting director and getting another ast. GM.

if you turn comissioner mode on and look at a bunch of AI GMs, most have terrible scouting ratings. so, i'd side with it not being important for the GM.

his favor xxxx may be important? but more likely still just from the scout, which influences the ratings the gm sees. then, acts on his overall strategy sliders and other sliders in that specific section of the editor.

Theo and Friedman have great scouting ratings. Seeing those rating made me wonder if it would be better to use the talent in the Scouting Director position rather tha AST. GM.

I’ve very seldom benefited from using the Asst. GM evaluations for trades. Most of the deals I make he thinks are unfair to me and yet my franchise has been to the last 5 World Series. I don’t see the value of even having this position even if his ratings are very high.

I’m ok with what I see of the scouting directors.
