Playing OOTP on more than one computer

Hi everyone,

Been an avid baseball sim guy since APBA in the mid seventies and about to download the game for the first time. Really excited to dive into this world and wondering what's my best option for being able to move easily between two computers. Based on what I've read, it seems that I have to purchase through Steam to be able to do that but maybe I'm missing something. Looking forward to your quick responses as I'd like to make my purchase today. Thanks!

Not necessary to purchase through Steam, can also purchase direct from OOTP Store. https://www.ootpdevelopments.com/?ut...start_01192017

Once your purchase is processed, you will receive an email with a license code. This code can be used twice, so install on 2 computers, and use the same license.

Once you create a league, there will be a "leaguename.lg" folder created in your saved games folder. Copy this file each time you move to play on the other computer. - "leaguename" will be whatever you name the league during creation. So if you named your league "MLB2018" then the league folder would be MLB2018.lg

Thanks! So basically whenever I switch from one computer to the other I copy the file and then paste it into the folder of the other computer... or rather use a flashdrive or something, right?

Correct, I have done exactly that 100+ times.
About licenses, you are given 2 to use on any computers (Win or Mac) you want. If a CPU goes bad or you get a new one you can unlicense and then put the game on a new comp.
People also use Google drive or drop box so they can put a file in the cloud and they do not have to carry the USB around with them.

Even easier install teamviewer on both computers an you can play from the original install, no need to save and swap the league file.

Steam allows this too but I haven't evaluated it remotely as I have with team viewer.
