Screen goes blank after minimized

Whenever I minimize the OOTP screen, when I un-minimize it comes back as a blank white square. I can't get the game back and have to ctl-alt-delete to close it and restart.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes, was hoping Markus already knew about it and would be fixed in the patch. Maybe not (just downloading patch now).

The only fix I have found is if you are in modern 3D - click on the switch that changes from one-pitch to pxp and you get the full, live screen back. You can toggle it back to whatever you were on previously, and you're good to go. A bit annoying but not the world's biggest problem.

They do need to look into it if not fixed in today's patch.

I, along with several others, had this issue with 18 as well. It never did get patched so I just figured it was an issue with my older laptop. The problem is still there in 19 but I'm not hopeful for a fix.

You just learn not to minimise after a while, and to save very regularly.

It should not be a laptop age issue. My laptop is two months old and costs well over $1k.

I never had this problem with OOTP before but this same thing is happening to me now with 19.

same here. its beyond annoying. if I want to get access to my desktop i have to close out OOTP and then open the program i want like the justafan uniform utilities or facegen, then reopen OOTP.

I play on a laptop running Windows 8.1 Pro. It has 8 GB ram and uses an NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M video card. I am playing in windowed mode at a resolution of (1584x681). For reference, I'm pretty sure that in the past I played in "full screen" mode & thought I had made that settings change when I first played 19 but it appears that it is set to the default?

Markus, hopefully the attachments here help. Not a computer expert at all, so let me know if there are additional steps that might help
