Assistant GM?
If I'm doing everything manually, it seems like an AGM is just a sanity check when I'm looking at a trade. What other value does having an AGM bring? Do his scouting ratings matter? I'm just wondering why I'm laying out a player's salary for something if it doesn't actually do anything for me.

I agree ,the only other thing is that you can delegate certain tasks to them. I always assign minor league personnel to them to hire and fire them.

If you're not delegating tasks to them, make sure it's only the salary of a very bad player

I sign assistant GM's for the sole reason that the AI teams don't have the option to not pay a salary for one. It would seem like an unfair advantage to me to not have to pay for one.

I sometimes delegate minor league personnel to them, otherwise I just fill the spot with someone cheap.
