If I buy OOTP 19 can I still play my fictional league from OOTP 17?

I'm thinking about upgrading to OOTP19 so I can play MLB with up to date rosters and whatnot.

However, I have a fictional league from OOTP 17 that I've put quite a bit of work into. Two questions on that front:

#1 Is it possible to import an OOTP 17 fictional league into OOTP 19?
#2 Is it possible to continue playing my fictional league in OOTP 17 if OOTP 19 is also installed on my PC?

Yes, but you will have to install OOTP18 to upgrade it before you can upgrade in 19. That used to be possible without buying 18 by just installing it in an unlicensed mode. I am not sure if that still works.

And of course you could play that league in v17 and play other saves in v19, no problem at all
