Could that possibly be the bug then? I definitely did waive this guy just before the rule 5 draft to make room for more promising prospects. So maybe what is happening in this case is the MLB salary that he still has is causing the game to treat him as if he's on the 40 man roster when spring training is over and you want to send him back down after bringing him up as a non roster invitee.
