Game Crashed - Is Last Save OK?

Was playing my fictional league and after playing out a game, OOTP shut down (i.e. crashed). I restarted and it reverted to my very last save, which meant that I only lost one day in the season (since I had only advanced one day from when I last started OOTP). Everything appears OK and my save seems good to go. My understanding is that OOTP reverts back to your last save. Just want to be sure that my save file would be OK to use and move forward with. I have put 7 real years into this fictional league and wouldn't want to move forward if there were issues, such as messed up stats or player data since the game unexpectedly shut down. I do a manual backup, but that's only once every few months.

So, can someone confirm that when OOTP crashes, you just revert back to your last full file save and it wouldn't result in corrupt stats, data, etc. Thanks!

Should be fine. Happened to me today, in fact. I was able to just pick up where the save left off without issues.

Yeah, you're good.

Pro tip: If you ever mess something up in your league and want to go back to your last save, you can manually "crash" your game via CTRL+ALT+Delete and "End Task" OOTP in Task Manager...

You can literally do this over and over and over again w/o repercussions.

I learned the hard way to Auto-save every week. If you do every month, you can lose too much in the off-season.
