Game Crash on Updating Online League File

I'm in two different online leagues and I have this problem with both of them. When I go to download the updated files, the game will go through it's litany of steps and at the very last one - before it normally will show me the 'Success' screen, the game crashes.

Now, all the new info is there, and there seems to be no issues otherwise, but having to restart after every download is a bit of a pill - especially when I have been used to leaving the game open for weeks at a time over the numerous versions over the many years.

Anyone else experience this? Any ideas how to prevent this? I'm using a Mac Powerbook (a 2015-16? version) OS 10.11.6.

I have this same issue with OOTP 19
