Computer Rejects Approved Trades

I can replicate this every single time.

I make the computer a trade offer. A day or so later they reject it, but they counter with something like "That is almost fair, but if you include player X, Y, or Z we'll have a deal."

I include one of the players on that list, and they still reject me. Every. Single. Time.

did he really "approve"? or did he ask to think about it?

because if he has approved, you can simply close the deal

If he will accept the trade, he will accept it on the spot when you add the extra player. If you have to submit it for him to think about again, then he really isn't going to accept it.
