Player on 40 man moved to main roster but not showing up in line up section

As the title says I moved a player over and he's showing that he's on the main roster on the rosters transactions and tab but when I go into the lineups tab he's not listed. He's eligible to be on the main roster. We are not over our limit, he's player 27 of 40. He's a SS so it's not that i'm looking in the wrong spot or anything.

Edit: Apparently dragging and dropping him onto the "Active roster" did not work but going onto the players profile, going into actions/transactions/place on active playoff roster did. Is that the way it's suppose to be? I thought that drag and drop should do it.
