OOTP19 Cannot Install Historic/Modern Photo Pack

Last week, I could install the photo pack and the ballparks. But apparently the mod18 ballparks caused animation and crashing problems.

I uninstalled then reinstalled and game worked fine--just no historic pics and ballparks.

Last night, I downloaded the new patch so decided this morning to install the Historic and Modern Photos pack. I click install, and the scroll bar says, "Please wait" instead of counting up the percentage to 100% for install.

Then I get a box that says, "Success" it was installed.

After exiting program, I go into Historic Exhibition, no photos. I check my files, I do not see the zip file of Historic and Modern photos like I did last week before I uninstalled the game program.

I restart my computer, go into the Add-on Central, Click "re-install" and try all over again.

Nope, so I get back into ADD-on Central, click on the downloaded files feature button, it shows me the icon for Internet Explorer and photos in a tzg file. I don't even know what that is. There's nothing in there! So I deleted that.

How can I try to re-download the Historic and Modern Photos pack? The button still says "reinstall." I cannot get it to say "download" to restart the process.

What have i done wrong? The photos were supposed to be simple and the ballparks were not working for version 19... but I cannot even get the photos im

Please Help!

follow directions on the page - reinstall.

Did that, as I mentioned.

Here's what is frustrating:
I get gamers saying, follow the directions, but on eSellerate's version of Add-on, I do not see any directions. Nothing says, do this now do that. I see Download and Install buttons and I do that. First time, it worked fine--last week, before I had to uninstall the program.

This week, it is not working. I see the photos when I click on "Target: Open Target Folder."

That takes me to a folder that says photos. I click on that folder and 140mb worth of pics are there in the Documents, Out of the Park Developments, OOTPBaseball19, add ons, downloads file.

But how do I get those into the program?

I go to Windows(:C), Program File x86, Out of the Park Developments, OOTPBaseball19, default.data and I see a zip file called Photo_files.

I click on that and see a photo folder.

I click on that and only a read me document is in there.

So I tried copying and pasting the other photo folder from the TGZ file into the zip file and it will not work.

I had to go into add server and type in the prompt http://ootpmods.com/mods/ootpmods18.xml (I think i remember it right) to find the Historic and Modern Photos and the other downloads. Today I learned the ballparks from that server won't work properly in 19.

I only have version 19... I'm a newbie. Guessing these pics should work. They did last week before my uninstall because of the ballparks problems... but this week I get that tzg file and no zip file.

Have said it before and will say it again----real photos have been a mess ever since OOTP fell in love with Facegen. Everything from photos not showing up at all to the wrong photos showing to photos changing from day to day and even sometimes more than one photo showing up for the same player !!! Nothing ever gets done about it because they simplt aren't interested in anything that is not facegen.

I use the photos file that I used for 18. I just copied it and pasted it into the same file on 19. It works fine.

I have been unable to do anything regarding historical stadiums, and am waiting for some news of a new version of those or something.

Maybe a dumb question but did you go into settings and under the facegen tab tell it to select photos first?
Also, technically photos and historical ballparks are not part of the game due to licensing issues so the developers will not be able to help you but people on this forum try to help. Photos have always been easy for me but I have had problems with historic ball parks. For photos all I ever had to do was go to add on central, click download photos, click install, go to game and click settings-facegen tab and make sure it said load photo first.
