Bunt and Stealing ratings
Just want to make sure Im using these correctly
For Bunting, if there is a runner on base and you bunt, the Sac rating is used. If bases are empty, then its bunt for a hit rating. Is this correct? For stealing bases. I get that the base stealing rating is used. But how does the speed and base-running ratings factor in? |

Good base stealers have great first steps and hit top speed from the get go, and they are masters are reading the pitchers and get great jumps leaving the catcher with no chance. A base stealer may not be the fastest guy around the bases, but from a standing start he can't be beat.

In ootp speed rating is how well a player gets a good jump. Steal rating how successful player is. A higher the speed rating = more attempts. A higher steal rating = a higher success rate.
