You can actually have them if you save a sound file with the batter's name it will play it when they come to bat. I thought about using the windows voice to announce the batters whilst recording them with audacity and saving them as .ogg files. Would be simple enough to then add in a snippet of music over it.
It would obviously work better in pitch by pitch as in a one pitch game with something like a strike out the batter might be out before the music ends. If you keep it to about 3-4 seconds it should be ok though.
