Suggestions for Viewing Game on Laptop 1366x768?

I've arrived at opening day (well, actually finished the first day), after all of the meticulous detailing of stadiums, histories, etc.. but now find myself a bit uncertain about how I'd like to play and view the game.

I exclusively play the game on my laptop, my good ol' faithful "Markus blames me for everything" Lenovo and in the end, it's always treated me well, but it's small of course. Historically, I started with 2D with ball flight, then as the game evolved adapted the 3D Classic through last year. This year's a bit more problematic as there are widgets and such that are out of one's control in Modern (and I like the look), but Classic still has a certain nostalgic and familiar appeal to me, but feels crammed now. Granted, I've not experimented with physically moving widgets in Classic yet, but that's why I'm here.

I know most of you have those big-honkin' monitors and fancy graphic modern dragster machines, but anyone still living in the confines of the Bed & Breakfast laptop like me? How are you setting up the screen and what view are you utilizing? I'd appreciate any input to help me out and continue my season optimized best as I am able.

Thanks in advance!

I have a bargain bin Dell with 1366 resolution. I play with modern 3D. I have it set so everything disappears during the play. I like it that way because it doesn't really matter how I place the widgets.

I play on a desktop, but have 1440x900 which is close to your resolution. I play classic 3d, set up the widgets myself for maximum stat availability. Tried modern 3d but didn't like the limited stat views.

Thanks. Leaning that direction, in part for the same reason. Noticed the 3D model in the Ballpark Editor has a 4:3 ratio box (new to me at least) which presumably means a better preview of the boxed-in Classic field view. I’ve always preferred the pbp box at the bottom like yours, too.

I do the same , it's a trade-off congestion prior to pitch in exchange for great new stadium immersion after the pitch. I'm scheduled to get a new laptop later this year first time I will be paying attention to the screen resolution specs

win10 has a scaling option for text.. if it'snot fitting well this may be a choice? the game text option also ... try a smaller font.

doesn't apply to all apps... and i don't use win10.. so no personal experience
