Imported schedule being replaced?

Has anyone else experienced this? It it possible I’m doing something to cause this to happen or should I report it as a bug?

I have a schedule that I imported for a league I’m building. I’m doing some test simming and after a while, I notice that the schedule has changed to a generic one.

unless named for your league, i belive the game will rotate through any 'fitting' schedule it has.

make a copy of that scheduel by rename it:

<name of league>.lsdl

so if your new league is "New Game" as it would be by default..

new league.lsdl and it will automatically be chosen. if multiple leagues match up, delete the ones you don't want to use etc.. this can happen if you use "Major Leauge" for example.

no worries, nothing is lost for good... all the schedules are archived in teh "default data" directory. so it can be restored to the "data" directory at any time as needed.

here is an example from teh data\schedules directory:

major_league_ml_c_2017.lsdl

a league named "major league" will always use these files -- the _C_<year> is also important.. you can see the historical schedules adhere to this comment section too.

check manual for nomenclature of the files.. check schedules directory to mimic what you see - formatting and such... you can see all the mil leagues named in their respective scheudle's file name.

so, name it properly and it won't swap them around.

<leaguename>_<league level>_c_<year> is the above format used.

<year> can be other things if you want to rotate through multiple files.. for example:

major_league_ml_c_A
major_league_ml_c_B
major_league_ml_c_C etc... and it will rotate between those three scheduels...

if you keep just one, no worries.. it will jumble matchups and maintain the correct # of games vs. various opponents (interleague, divisional etc)
