Backups Playing too much
If I set a backup to anything except NEVER, they play every other game regardless of frequency set.

Are you in control? Check settings.

Do you mean team control settings? I have "Setting lineup and depth chart" to me but i have the same issue. Is there another set of settings somewhere?
My backup backs up three positions (every 4 game, 5 game, 6 games).. he plays every day but switches off on two of those positions. My poor RF is getting run into the ground unless I manually bench him |

I think if you have the player set to come every 4th game on both the VS LHP and VS RHP lineups, he'll come about twice as much. So after 3 games, he'll come in on the 4th game. If that is facing a LHP, it will reset the game count for the VS LHP lineup, but he'll still come in the next time you face a RHP. Even if you have all that just on 1 lineup only, the backup will still play most games. Using your example of backup up 3 players, he'll start in the 4th, 5th, and 6th games, then rest 1 game, and it will already be time for him to start again for the "start every 4 games" sub. If you have this setting on both lineups, he'll be playing every game and almost never be available to sub for a tired player. |
