Frustrated
I've tried posting in the technical support section and I tried submitting a ticket through Kayako (can't even submit a ticket). I have not heard back from OOTP. I am having withdrawal symptoms due to not being able to play
. I will repost here. Will the company respond and try to help? I will give you a pass since it is a holiday weekend, but c'mon.I've played 18 games but now it crashes. The game seems to load properly. I click " Continue Game", and everything loads until it gets to the, "Loading Logos" at 85%. It crashes every time at that point. Then, a box pops up stating, "OOTP 19.exe has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly." Granted, my computer is old, but I was able to play 18 games before this started to happen. I've rebooted and tried running as administrator. I purchased this through OOTP, not through a secondary source. I was only able to play one game since I installed the update last week. I'm on a PC running Windows 10 Version 1709. I'm hoping there's a quick fix because I don't know how to mess around with the video card, etc. Let me know. I'm happy with the game but terribly frustrated with this issue. Thank you |

Have you tried this?
The first thing would be to try to restore from the autosave. 1) Open the game and on the start screen, click on Settings (or Preferences in OOTP 11-14). 2) Now click on the tab "Troubleshooting". 3) Click "Open folder containing saved games". 4) Now open up the league folder you're wanting to restore. 5) Then select all of the .dat files in the folder and back them up (just in case) by copying them to a temporary folder or creating a zipped file with them 6) Open the folder called "auto-save". 7) In there, select all of the ".dat" files and copy them to the league folder (the parent of the current folder) overwriting all of the ".dat" files in the league folder. Now start the game and load your league. Let me know if that helps. |

I'm having two issues myself. One though I am able to work around. I doubt this will work for you but passing it along.
I have to change my screen size of windows to change size of OOTP. If I keep it on 300% (default for my system) it goes into 720 and won't let me window-mode so I adjust windows display itself. To hit 1080 I have to set it to 200%. Messing around with it I one time put it on wrong setting. It crashed the game twice. Went back into display settings and seen I had set it to like 175% or something and would crash exactly like what your saying. Have no idea why. Give it a shot? |

Not a good answer I know, but you could at least play. Just something to try as well, go into your saved game folder and delete your logos. You can always get them back from another place. |
