Schedule after league expands it's weird
My challenge mode league expanded and now there is:
-No inter league play -Short series of 3 games few 4 game series -Play 80% of games in my division only. It's weird. Is there a way to fix it? In options inter league play is checked. |

The first two things point to the flawed schedule generation algorithm, but the third rules it out as an option, as the schedule generator only outputs balanced schedules.
What were the exact details of the expansion? |

I have dynamic league on.
After the first year MLB expanded 2 teams. That's when the issues started. I'm in season 4 now and the schedule is still messed up. After year 2 it relocated a team as well. |

I was just looking at the same thing. Noticed the schedule ends like Sep 23 instead of flowing into oct. I tried to export and edit, but was not smart enough to figure out how.
There used to be a mod for 32 team interleague; if I find it, I will post |

found it!
ok, go here:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...21#post4051507 These assume AL and NL, 3 divisons, interleague. They are 6-5-5, 5-6-5, 5-5-6 depending on which divisions you put the expansion teams in (I used AL and NL east for mine, so I want the 6-5-5). Save the one you want to your documents / OOTP / OOTP19/Schedules file. Then go to games - settings - league settings - Edit league schedule. Choose actions at top right, import schedule. It set up a league where you play your division 16 times each, the rest of your league, 6 times each, then 1 division from the other league, 6 times each. Remember that when you expand, you need to go to all your minor leagues and generate a schedule for each. Whenever I expand, I usually sim a season before I start and make sure everything looks right....the expansion teams should prob lose at least 90, make sure the minors all play a schedule and their records don't look weird, etc. Try not to look at how your players did. Then I hit alt-ctrl-delete and start it up |

Edit The AI just added 2 more teams so AL is 6-6-6 and NL is 6-5-5... oh no... I'll ask that poster. Last edited by Baldrick88; 03-31-2018 at 11:50 PM. |

if you go to the forum for mods, there's a schedule one; it has just about any schedule setup you'd like. I seem to remember if the AL and NL don't have the same number of teams, weird things happen.
