How do we show hits and errors on the in-game scoreboard?
I first want to repeat that after a day or two of initial uncertainty as I got used to the new visual and saw what you can do, I now think this year's version of OOTP is amazing. I have started a new Random Debut league and am having a blast with the league, and am playing out more games than ever before, while occasionally simming a week at a time.
But I was wondering if there is a way to expand the in-game scoreboard to show hits and errors, and where we can see the players' performance in that game (3 for 4, or 6 innings pitched with only one hit given up, etc.), without a large widget having to be a permanent visual on the field. The latter is less important, but not having R, H, E on a scoreboard is too untraditional for old guy me. Thanks again OOTP team ! |

This is based on your screen resolution. If you can increase the resolution, the game will show these values.

I think I read the screen resolution needs to be at least 1900.. I never paid much attention to screen resolution when buying computers..seems like guys like me who pay more attention to price when I purchased are going to max out at 1300.

I’d had this issue when playing modern 3D in windowed mode. When I went full screen the usual linescore appeared. FWIW my resolution is 1920x1080.
The linescore is always shown in either windowed or full screen mode if you play in Classic 3D. |

Hmmmm...one of the forum members just told me it should work in both modern full screen and modern windowed. I only get the abbreviated scoreboard when I play in windowed mode.

I appreciate the well-meaning help, but I don't have the slightest idea what you all are talking about. My computer screen resolution? Where is that control anyway on Windows 10? And why would that effect the actual image of what is shown any more than what color screen, or what font I use would? Anyway, where do I find what my screen resolution is? And as good as the game is, why are R, H and E not the default for the scoreboard?

Right click on your desktop screen and select display settings... then advanced display settings. From there you should be able to adjust the screen resolution. If the highest resolution is at least 1920 you will be in business.
