Is there a way to run OOTP 18 save on 17?

Greetings...I think I know the answer on this, but I know there are very smart and experienced people here.

I've completed a season on OOTP 18....is there a way to make that season load on OOTP17 instead of using 18 again?

I've done a search on this, and can't find anything that says it can't be done, so I thought it might be worth asking. Thanks for any response.
