Go to your team's home screen. Under the tab that says "Home", you should see "Home Page" "Meet the Team" "Team Chemistry" "Baseball Cards" and "Settings". Click on Settings...

From there, have your eyes follow that line to the right where you'll see little buttons that say, "Modify Team colors, logos, and textures" and "Edit Ballpark". Click on "Edit Ballpark"...

From there, you'll see tabs that say, ""Park Profile" "Pictures & Coordinates" "Ball locations" "3D Model" and "Weather". Click on "3D Model"...

Now you can use the buttons on the right to edit your view. Look where it has X, Y, Z, and Zoom with + and - arrows. That is where you can edit the camera position from. Just do it slowly.

Once you get it to a place that you like, click on "Save Camera" and save it as a new one (don't override the default, just in case your camera isn't as good as you think it will be). Give it a new name and you're all set.

Once you go into your next game, it will be on the default camera, but just click on options and select your camera view

Just to add that you can also left click (and hold) on the field and rotate the camera view and also right click (and hold) and drag it left/right, plus the mouse wheel will zoom in/out as well

Maybe someday there will be a "follow ball in play" option so the play follows the ball flight path.

I was in the same boat. The confusing part (for me) was that when you create a historical exhibition, you are brought to a "Play Ball" screen without any of the settings options you get in a normal league. You have to go back to the main screen, then load the exhibition again. At that point you get the full list of options (including edit ballpark). It took me a while to figure that out.

I was just getting ready to post essentially what you just said. Can't get what the fellows said above to show in the World Series Exh mode.

Thanks for this. I'll go in and try to see if I can figure out what you just said although I'm ready for game 5 and wonder if I can still do what you said. I'll try. : )

Are you asking for more screenshots of parks? Or the links to the historic 3Ds?

Here's what I did to get an extra camera view in Historical Exhibition mode. I created a 1982 historical league. Then I entered Edit 3D mode and created a blimp view for County Stadium and Busch Stadium. Then I fired up the 1982 World Series in Historical Exhibition mode. During the game, I was able to access the new camera view.

What does changing this value actually do?

I don't play on steam, so apologies if there's a different way to do that. But this is where I got them:

This is the updated version of the parks. The backgrounds and day and night skies have been updated here I believe

How can you get the fielder names to stay over the players while the action is on? I'd love to see the name and fielder rating float above them. I am autoplaying my games in 3D, and while I like the action a lot, I lose track of the fielders and their ability. In the 2D mode you always have the player pics and ratings in their spots.

Wait, is that a level of detail that is possible in 19, or are you joking? I just bought it 12 hours ago, and really hope there are submariners!

Yes, in 19 pitchers throw from different arm angles, including sidearm and submarine. I just don't know if they have the animation to match yet.

Thanks alot fellas. The old man finally got a good setting on the screen. Infielders...look great with my old eyes!!

Can't get angle camera change though that was mentioned in earlier post here about using mouse right button to rotate. But no biggie.

Wow...the game looks and plays fantastic. Those little guys on the field and the updated cool play script is simply terrific.

Way to go OOTP19...

looks like not all historical teams default to this white on grey situation. Looks like Bal, Cal, CIn, NYY, Phil, LA, Pit and SF are the teams that dont get their colors.

This is my first year managing the games so I was somewhat new to the whole idea of editing ballpark views and camera angles. After some trial and error, I think I've figured it out mostly. HOWEVER, I noticed that my custom cam (which I made in my home ballpark) is not available in other parks....is there a way to use this camera so that it works in any stadium? Or do you have to go through the laborious process of setting it up all over again in each stadium? Thanks for any feedback.

Yes you have to set it up in each stadium unfortunately. Least laborious way to do it I guess would be to do each stadium as you are about to play that team. At least that way it's spread out.
