When I click on the game from my desktop to the time it finally gives me the start screen is about five minutes. The previous version of the game took less than a minute to get to the start screen and moved quicker. Is this an everyone issue or just me?

I don't think mine takes 5 minutes, but it does take longer than past versions.

Wow. I realize not everyone can afford a new PC or an SSD, but I've never heard of 5 minutes. What are your PC's specs?

Processor/RAM/Hard Disk type?

My first suggestion in cases like this is always to restart your computer. Then to make sure you have as little as possible running in the background at the same time as OOTP. If possible, shut down everything else, at least everything non-essential.

the previous game still loads in less than a minute, but 19 takes around 5 minutes. I have been thinking about buying a new computer, this might push me to do that. I keep getting the "blue screen of death", but I have been putting off getting a new computer. Thanks
