Sim Same Season X Times

I vaguely remember a feature from one of the Baseball Mogul games ~15 years ago that allowed you to sim the same season a given number of times. So say I wanted to sim the 2017 season 100 times and see the number of times a certain team made the playoffs, what the average win totals were, who led the league in a certain category and how many times, etc.

I assume this is basically what the preseason predictions feature is doing?

Is there a way to do this with OOTP (other than preseason predictions, if that is indeed what it's doing)?

my first thought was to re do the season again. Basically start over again

The sim module can do this New this year, you can have it sim the season a bunch of times and basically give you the preseason prediction report from that.

Caveats:
Anything over ~250 sims will probably crash. The limit might even be less than that.
We don't report the number of times a team made the playoffs, only their "Average" standings
We don't report individual player seasons, just their "Average" season
We don't simulate injuries, and everything is done using the currently set up rosters/depth charts

Bonus: you have the option to simulate including the current standings too if you want to use that basically instead of the "pennant chase" screen. Although again, it doesn't give playoff odds, so if that's what you're using it for, it won't help.

This is pretty good, thanks! Definitely better than manually simming over and over.

There's no way to see stats from players other than those listed on the results screen (the top players)? Would love to see how particular players who aren't listed are projected to do.

Would be awesome to get some kind of export from this or something with more results.
