Fixing my schedule

So I've got 20 teams. Two subleagues with one division with 10 teams each.

I want for each team to play 12 games with each team in it's subleague, and 6 games against each team in the other subleague.

12 games x 9 teams = 108
6 games x 10 teams = 60

So 168 games in total. I've made a schedule (attached) and according to the spreadsheet I used to plan it out then everything should be OK but when I run the evaluation report, a small error appears.

I've attached an example from the evaluation report -- every team is like this -- 12 games against their own league, but one of their interleague opponents is at 9 games and another is at 3. In the example, Waitakere play Darwin 9 times, and Newcastle 3. Both should be at 6.

This is my first time making my own schedule so was wondering if there's a trap I've fallen into or a mistake I could have made.

This schedule has multiple errors. On days 64-66 you are repeating games you have already scheduled. This seems to be an easy fix. Just replace with series you are missing. Here is where the problem arises. Team 3 is missing games in 2 series. I am still searching for errors but I think I need to find 2 more series that are missing. I only have 8. so I found 10 duplicated and 8 missing, with team 3 missing 2.

I can fix this just give me about an hour or so. So the issue is you forgot to enter 1 series for each team and added an extra series that you he already scheduled, then one of the missing series has a team with 2 series missing.

Also your season is pretty long - 210 days. I would suggest next time for a long season having some of the 12 game matchups have some 4 game series so go 3/3/4/2 still 6h/6a but lets you put 1/2 of the series 4/3 and some 3/2/2 with as many as possible 6 games for the week 3/3. You could probably have it reduced to 188-192 days instead of 210.

Here is the fix.

I don't create schedules, so I can only guess that you duplicated an interleague series on days 64-66. I deleted the duplicates and went through each team to see what they were missing and put those in days 64-66. I was surprised that I had all 20 teams in my list. so I just lined them up and all looks good now.

I did not test it in game but all teams now have 84 home games so I assume they all have 84 away also since all teams now have a 3 game against each interleague opponent.
