Loading Historical Exhibition Loads Standard Game

So I started a standard league game. Exited out to the OOTP screen and wanted to play around with a historical exhibition game; World Series best of 7. I played one game and left. Went back up to load and instead of picking up at game 2 it loads my standard league game. Tried this several times.

Did you start both games in the same session?

Yea I started the standard game first, saved it and exited out to the main screen. Started a historical exhibition, played a game and then went back to the main screen. Tried to load exhibition and standard comes up.

This also happens if I shut the game down completely, reopen it and try to load exhibition.

Yes, it has always been this way. Once you exit HE mode, you cannot really re-enter HE mode. You have to choose your Exhibition.lg from the Load Game menu. The good news is that you'll be able to access many more options than if you were stuck in HE mode. The bad news is that it takes a minute to figure out where to find your next game.

Interesting and never noticed it. So once I do an exhibition I pretty much need to see it through?

No, you don't need to see it through. You can still access it once you've exited. Just go to the Load Game screen and choose ExhibitionLeague. (If you wish, you can even rename the league so it doesn't get written over, should you decide to start a different Historical Exhibition game.) To locate your HE game, you need to go to the "Scores" screen. Like I said, you'll be able to access all kinds of options not available in strict HE mode.
