Existing League into new database?
Here is what I want to do. I want to take the existing Asahi2 league and transfer all the current rosters into a new league, call it Asahi3, but I'd like to move to a new database and have random debut. Currently we are using a random debut database so we have teams with players from the 1890's playing with guys from the 20's, 40's and even some modern guys. What I don't want to have happen is the current roster of players to appear in future drafts. So without going in and erasing all those players out of the database, what suggestions might people suggest?
The reason I want to do this is 1) the random debut database we are using is running out within the next 15 seasons, and 2) I'd like to reboot the league but not throw away the work we've done with our current rosters. We could do fictional, but the opinion of the league is generally they do not want fictional. We could start all over, but again the opinion is that we'd lose a bunch of owners, plus the idea of a entry draft isn't appealing. So back to my original question. If I start a league with rosters and a new database will future drafts automatically eliminate players already in the league from showing up again? |

Or how about this question instead. Can I create a new random debut league and import full rosters from another league into that league? Same question would apply. 1) Can this be done, and 2) Would the random debut feature remove players from coming back into the league or would I have to manually delete them out?
