Importing from OOTP18
My understanding is that you should be able to import from OOTP18 at any point in the year / season, and the import will work properly (as compared to an specific time of the year). Is that correct?

that's what I've been told, though the optimal point is during the offseason & before free agency. almost everyone has said they've done it at all times without any problems.

Two things though: 1. Make sure you back it up in OOTP18 right beforehand just in case something goes wrong 2. It does take awhile (the more seasons you have, the longer) so don't do it when you're in a rush |

Sometimes the best time to import from OOTP 18 to 19 would be when your sleeping for like for me it takes approx. 4 to 5 hours to complete (50 plus years and I keep a lot of details)

I have read that due to the AI routines etc...(and ratings I think), it's best to important on the first day of the off-season. I guess it gives the simulation a chance to run those routines and properly adjust.
