Error saving logo

Don't know the exact nature of the problem, but am simming multiple seasons in a fictional universe on a Mac. League evolution is turned on.

Here and there, an error message is popping up that it can't save a certain logo. Other than having to hit "Ok", it doesn't seem to interfere with the game otherwise. Not sure if there's some teams without logos.

Perhaps it has to do with saving files names with "~" symbol in them or some other naming convention? Will pay more attention if I get the error again, but so far it's happened twice.

I don't believe the game will allow you to save logos or will correctly load with certain symbols like ~ in them, so that's likely the main port of the problem.

Another thing to check though would be to try to run the game as an admin (right-click your OOTP 19 icon -> run as admin) and see if that helps.

But the thing is I wasn't trying to do anything. This was entirely game generated during a multi-year sim.

In that case it's probably a write permissions issue. Did you try running the game as an admin?

I believe it's a problem with the file name. We'll have to fix it in another build.

Oh, you're right. The team has the accented character in the city name.

So to the op, you can fix this for now by changing the team name to Consolacion, without the 'ó' character.

Thanks for the followup guys. I thought I had replied, but on a flight to Seattle at the moment so perhaps all my devices didn’t sync properly before I boarded.
