On the team settings page where you type in team location that probably could be used with the schedule editor. The only problem then would getting the neutral site appear on the box score.

In-game ability is fine too. But if nothing else, add the option to schedule file structure. That way it can be done externally without much difficulty.

from someone who just recently started to play with pawns, I was completely immersed with your PBP commentary for 5-7 years playing out every single game (intensely). it never seemed repetitive.

that's quite a feat IMO. I've been playing almost daily since 14 & just a few months ago started using pawns. just a couple days ago I discovered detailed pawns & now less than two weeks away from full player movement.



I will still read the PBP along with it. never gets old & adds to immersion. thanks for that.

Can players be thrown out trying to advance on a wild pitch, especially at home? Or any over throw for that matter, think bad throw to first can the runner be cut down trying to take second? Will there be occasions where they stay put if the ball doesn't get far enough away?

Is there real life data to base this on? I would think on wild pitches it would be there but are overthrows\errors tracked in such detail by scorekeepers? I guess if a guy advances or is thrown out data exists but, is there data on how many times a runner stays put and no advance is attempted?

Anyway it would be a great start if at least the runner scoring from third was taking a chance of being thrown out in v19 and not score 100% of the time as long as based on actual data.

I wanted to be patient and be potentially surprised when playing out a game but curiosity has gotten the best of me

I have never seen a player thrown out at the plate on a wild pitch or a passed ball. Also, never seen a player thrown out trying for an inside-the-park-homer. They're always safe.

This has probably been mentioned before, but a simpler way to search for coaches would be appreciated. Like displaying influence and relationship ratings on the main list, or the ability to set those as filters.

Not likely for this season, but have you guys (OOTP Devs) ever thought about maybe a dynamic trading environment, especially during the trade deadline, and maybe managers pulling players from a game if he might be traded?

On the 'final beta' version it allows me to select 'Challenge Mode' despite the servers don't go up until the 22nd which is release day.

Will I need to start a new save on the 22nd to qualify for Challenge mode ? Or will this save just be entered once those servers go up?

I haven’t had a chance to play the game yet (waiting to finish-up my current 2019 season), but had a few questions. But it looks so cool from just reading folk’s impressions! I really want to get into the game.

Anyway, here are my questions.
Facgen does not show up on the prospects if they are not on the 40-man. But, if you enable Facgen “for all players”, will it generate a picture for those “other-guys”? (I like having something there).

I think Matt mentioned they are aware of a few 3D issues in the current Beta…. the pitcher sometimes goes through his windup twice, some plays to the OF have the fielder take a very slow path to the ball. Are those being dealt with in the Thursday release?

Also, I’d venture to guess that there are numbers of small improvements to the 3D etc.…that will be in Thursday’s official release.

They don't show up on the non 40-man guys because we can only include the 40-man guys faces with the game. If you download a mod with other guy's faces they'll show up.

The 3d issues will surely be better by Thursday. I'm not certain every single one will be ironed out by then though, some might take a bit longer.

Cool. I was just wondering if in the game settings, I can allow the game to generate a "fictional" facegen.

But, if I can download that mod, that's even better! I didn't even know there was a mod that had those.
