8 AM Germany time, which is like either 2 or 3 AM eastern depending on what stupid daylight savings time did to our temporal relationship with Deutschland.

That's when March 19 starts here and that's when I expect to have the download link im my mailbox. Don't disappoint me, Markus ![]() Honestly, I guess it will be just like the past few years - afternoon over here, so around 9 a.m. Eastern Time

Drat...I'm actually being tempted to block Monday from a possible sub-teaching job. : )
That would be an extra $90 or so for the game. I just hope that a new special post with video etc about the game comes out today!

How about somewhere in the middle of Moneyball, and before I put on the Natural? Just to be safe, I'll start refreshing my e-mail inbox now.

Sharing a memory
This thread can't help but take me back to probably the early 90's, when I was an adult, professional chef, who played APBA baseball (OOTP not on the scene, yet). So, it's probably 3:00 PM, or so, and I have something like a 4:30 PM dentist appt......very much on my radar. I get a call from my wife telling me the 'cards' have arrived. In those days, everything was manual, and the cards signified the current year players/ratings that would be huge news to all of us playing the game.
Like a child completely distracted by the new toy, I race home from work to open the package, and begin perusing all the MLB players. It was exciting, filled with thrills and disappointments, as each team's cards were in a separate envelope, with the team name on them. Somewhere around 5:00 PM, I get a call from the dental office informing me I missed my appointment.

You could put in a long day, stay up until midnight and push out the links at that time. Sure that means those of us in the US would get to start playing a few hours before the 19th, but I doubt you hear many complaints about that. Then you can sleep late tomorrow. The feedback will start rolling in overnight so that you’ll be greeted with praise and exaltation when you do finally get out of bed. Who wouldn’t want to start the day off that way...it’s a win-win.
