game play VS sim

So I'm a long time OOT fan and player I like the history and am working my way threw I have a few questions for you experienced players

1 does anyone one have any idea if the new 3d parks will be from the early part of baseball ie past ball parks?

2 has anyone seen or tried to play games live and also simmed games if you play a game live will you get similar scores . so a simed game seems to me to put up real scores for the time period that i'm playing in like 2-1 if I play them live will that change. I understand I will have more input into how the game will unfold

The game comes only with the modern 3D MLB parks. However you can download almost every classic park from the past from 3rd party mod creators.

From what I understand the exact same game engine is used for live and simmed games. In other words, the games are actually played out, but at a faster speed in sim mode.

...3rd party mod creators who are gods among us mere OOTP mortals.

I would think so, although by managing, yes the original poster would probably have some input into how the games will turn out. How much input? Anybody's guess, but probably as much as a RL big league manager, which is to say not much. The makeup of the team is more important than any strategies of any manager IMHO.

1) There are ballpark mods which include 200+ historical parks.
2) Identical engine, identical stats, no matter how you play / sim the games.
